Autumn Décor Made Easy!

Thanksgiving is this weekend, can you believe it! Although our gatherings are smaller this year than last we have a few helpful tips to make your dining table look and feel as festive as it can.

We may have to skimp on the invites but not on the décor!

Autumn is our favorite time of year, cozy blankets, pumpkin spice everything and the fireplace is in full use. One of the best things about fall is the décor, it adds a warm comforting hue to any space with rich colors and natural accents, many of which you can find outside (hello, budget-friendly!)

Here are some tricks to get the most festive looks for less!

Dining Room:

Maybe the most important, it's the center of any Thanksgiving dinner. A great way to upgrade a drab table is to add a few touches with warm tones and layers of texture.

Dining set

We have added a light runner to accent our rich brown Branson dining table set. To give it some texture and height, we paired it with green leaf garland that you can find at any local dollar store! Add in a few mini pumpkins, chestnuts or pinecones that are EVERYWHERE right now. Finish it off with some candles to set the cozy mood.

If you want to be a bit extra (we did!) a great DIY is to print out your menus. Grab some rosemary, which not only looks great but smells amazing! Tie it up with a string or ribbon, whatever you have on hand and you have a chic place setting for your guests.

Living Room:

It's amazing what some florals and a little pillow refresh can do to any space. We grabbed some pillow covers in what may be the color of the season, Yellow! and paired it with a neutral throw on our London accent chair. Fresh flowers and greenery are a great addition to add some warmth to your space add in a candle to finish the look!

Pro tip - Pillow covers are an inexpensive buy and can be thrown over existing pillow forms to completely refresh the look of any room, living, bedroom, and guestroom. Switch out your colors for any season to give a fresh look without breaking the bank.
